The following letters were
received from some of our valued clients
Colette and Tony,
Mark and I must thank you again for this very
special little girl. She is so wonderful and
smart. She is not at all shy or timid and I
swear she smiles at us. She is very vocal and
will call out to the ither dogs to come play
with her! Her eating is just fine. I have been
making the kibble really moist and mixing the
boiled chicken in. She gobbles it right up! I
have been brushing and combing her daily. I
would like to talk with you after the holiday
about keeping her looking so beautiful. If
Tink's mom and dad have a litter next year ,
please put me first on the list for a little
sister for her.
Thank you for choosing us to be her mom and dad,
we couldn't be happier!
Happy 4th of July!
Warm wishes,
Mark and Toni Pasquariello
In my very limited experience with Jack, I believe you are selling yourself short, re: ( I don't breed perfect dogs). I cannot attest to the "breed standard" for poodles; but I can certainly say with the utmost conviction that my Jack is perfect in every way so far. As you've seen in the emails between Toni and myself - we are COMPLETELY happy with our little family additions. Jack will be meeting with Dr. Hopkinson on thursday (day after tomorrow) but I have no concern that all will be as it should be. All the family (he got to meet them Saturday) think he's the greatest thing going. Both my Shepherds have now taken Jack "under their wing" and watch over him constantly (even though he insists on being a major pain-in-their-"backside" --- put down to his BOUNDLESS ENERGY!). I tried mixing his chicken with a bit of the Royal Canin 33 for dinner tonight (with some plain yogurt). The little poop picked out all of the chicken and avoided the "kibble" like the plague! Oh well... these things take time I guess. He's getting pretty good with his paper training --- peeing is not a problem, well... the other end needs some work! Again - I cannot thank you enough for this little bundle of joy. He's going to be "a trial" but I wouldn't change anything (except the poop patrol) for the world. As you requested, I'll be forwarding your message onto Toni. I have the feeling she is as thrilled with "tink" as I am with Jack. Be well - "talk soon", Rick + Uran + Zita + Jack

Subject: Update on Kara
Dear Collette
Just a few words to
let you know that Dennis and I both totally in
love with our baby girl. We had friends over
today (big pet lovers) and although they
have two big dogs, they could not tell us
enough how beautiful Kara is.
She loves her new
home. We thought we were going to have trouble
with her the first night here, but were very
surprised. She 'complained' when we put her in
bed and I just said: "No Kara." She tried a
second time and after the second "No Kara", she
fell asleep and woke up early this morning for
the first time. She slept in front of our bed
and she was so good. I have never had a puppy
sleeping through for her first night.
She had a whole
container of toys and the squeeky toys seem to
be her favorite. She chases a ball, but her
attention span is not long enough to 'fetch' it
yet. She is like a little ball of fur hopping
around every where in her new home. She loves
to follow we wherever we walk and we adore her.
We want you to know
that we absolutely love her and that she is
every bit as pretty as we thought she would be.
Her tail is up all the time as she bounces
around. She has not eaten much yet although we
feed her chicken by hand. I think as she gets
more acquainted with her new environment, she
will eat more. I am not concerned about her
eating as she eats some every time we try. The
amounts are just small.
Our friends loved
seeing 'the softer side' of us. They both said
they have not seen us 'like this' before. We
bought a great book on Poodles and we read to
one another while "Little Miss Muffet" sleeps on
her daddy's shoulder. (See photo). Dennis
enjoys the book as it is his first poodle he has
owned. He agrees with me that there is just
one kind of puppy for us.
You have been
wonderful to deal with Collette and every thing
checked out exactly the way you told us. We
want to thank you for making such a long trip to
Denver to get our puppy to us. It has been a
pleasure to deal with you and we will keep in
touch and give you updates on Kara. Your
puppies sure are champions in all regards. I
know poodles very well and this is an
outstanding puppy.
Thanks again and God
Bless.

Hi collette,
How are you? Just want to let you know how much we all (family, friends, neighbors and strangers) love my boy beau.(tomale). Do you remember him? We started the Duxbury poodle craze. Beau is the most perfect dog anyone could have. He is calm, QUIET, LOVING AND PERFECTLY ADORABLE. He was WONDERFULLY SOCIALIZED by you all and has the most perfect personality. We love him so very much. Just wanted to let you know he is doing great, even my vet kisses him on the lips because he is so cute. He is everything you said he'd be and more. Hope you are well. Take care, Michelle Keller

Dear Collette & Tony, I can't tell you how pleased I am with little Emmy. She arrived Friday night and greeted me with a wagging tail! I was very pleased as she has a beautiful face, a very conformed perfect body and a wonderful personality. When I read your other references, I thought these people must be exaggerating, but they spoke the truth! Emmy at only 9 weeks of age is almost housebroken. She only had one accident and that was my fault as I didn't show her where the wee wee pad was. In the three days I have had her she does everything outside, and only had to use the wee wee pad in the house twice. I have been sleeping on the floor with her in the family room and she wakes me up by climbing on me if she has to go out. She is very friendly with the other animals in the household and always greets them with a wagging tail. The only thing is that my 2 year old toy poodle, Candy, is a little afraid of her, but I'm sure that will pass. Our 10 year old Shih Tzu, Eyoky, plays with her, but we have to watch her as she is a little dominant with Emmy. We went out for about a half hour and put Emmy in the kitchen with a puppy gate. When we came home Emmy started to climb up the gate, so now we will put her in a crate that she can't climb, or take her with us just until we can trust the other dogs with her as she is so much smaller right now. Her appetite has increased and is eating well. We give her chicken and the chicken soup that you sent. By the way where do you get that as I haven't seen it here? I could not have wished for a more perfect little puppy. I'm 55 years old and have had dogs all my life and always at least three, and at one time I had 7. Out of all these animals, I have to say Emmy is truly the most intelligent of them all. You only have to show her something once or twice and she has it down. The day before Emmy arrived I went to Petsmart to get some toys, a bed etc. for her and I noticed that they were having potty training classes. Not only do I not need these, Emmy could teach the class! She is the cutest, sweetest, smartest, loving, bravest little puppy I have ever had. Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful little dog. It has to be in the breeding. You have made my wish come true. Please feel free to add me to your list of references. Thanks again!

Collette- I have been meaning to e-mail you and let you know how our new baby is doing, but it has been so hectic with Christmas that I am embarrasses it has taken me so long. We are in LOVE!!!! He is such a joy, we named him Frosty’s Mochachino Delight; “Moe” for short. We absolutely adore this little guy. He is so smart and so much fun. He has brought such joy to us. He is so smart, potty trained in a week, and just absolutely adorable. Thank you so much for raising such loveable puppies! Carrie Cossette
Hi Collette and Tony, I'm so sorry that we are not where I could give you the biggest hug ever!! It is so obvious that Terra started her life in a fun and warm household. She truly is a happy pup. She is a real treasure and so full of spunk and energy!! She keeps us laughing. I just copied 10 pictures to send to our son and my uncle. She has charmed all that have seen her with her fun ways of doing things. Sometimes her name should be spelled “Terror” as you know she is just full of fun and devilment. On June 7 we start “Puppy Kindergarten.” She will be just the right age. I laughed when I read that the first 10 minutes is social time. Our vet said she is in wonderful health and she goes back in 2 weeks for her second round of shots. This makes 3 vet visits so far. She is making great strides in her “potty” training. I tried the paper with the diaper mat and the next thing I knew she was running through the house with them flying behind her like Superman’s cape. She is training Jimmy and I really well. Jimmy and I have to be so careful as you know. She gets under you and you cannot she her. We’ve stepped on paws and knocker her little head with our feet; but she still seems to like being here. I really think she becomes a centipede when she doesn’t want to be caught. Her little lets far outpace our steps. She picks up everything in the yard and puts it right in her mouth. We are trying to develop multi-vision so we can keep more than one pair of eyes on her at all times while she is discovering the great outdoors. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful little pup with us. We couldn’t ask or want anything more. She has far surpassed our hopes. Fondly,
Dear Collette, I just wanted to let you know the dogs are great. Michele is so happy, it has been great for her. She loves him a lot; just what she needed. She calls him angel because he brought her out of her sadness of losing scarlet. Mine is great; we named her Jasmine. She is so sweet and has a great personality. They are eating fine; he is so small. Thanks again. It has done so much for Michele, I’m very grateful to you. Many thanks. Love,
Collette & Tony, I want to say thanks for my wonderful babies. Bailey and Miayah are our pride and joy. We will always miss our precious Abby, but feel truly blessed to have Bailey; he is my little boy. You do a super job at breeding the best poodles we have ever seen!! Thanks, Tom, Janice, and Kyli Rath
Hi Collette, I met one of your puppies today, a black female 4 months old. She belongs to some folks at Red Feather. (I think her owner’s name was Sandy.) I have one of your dogs as well. She will be 4 on August 31. It was such a coincidence. I had my little Beebe with me and the two little black dogs ran and played like they were old friends. I must tell you that my little Beebe Collette is an absolutely perfect dog. She is so friendly and lovable. She goes to work with me every day and entertains all her graduate student friends here at Colorado State University. She has some gray on her chin and weighs about 8 pounds. I am going to be interested in another female puppy soon. A clone of Beebe would be perfect. Your dogs are so social and well adjusted. You must do a really good job with raising them. Let me know if you have, or will have any dog which I can promise will have the best home possible. Beebe’s papers show her sire to be CH Soignes this one is for keeps, and her dam is Soignes Stunning Mayia. I’m not interested in breeding, but might do some agility and obedience. Thank you so much for Beebe. She is the love of our life. Susie Miller
Dear Collette Sorry its taken so long to let you know how the little black boodle you sold me is doing. Our sweet baby girl is the love of our lives and we are so thankful to you for breeding such a wonderful bundle of joy. My husband and I are retired and live in a big ranch house in Colorado and now, thanks to “Sassy,” it doesn’t seem as big and lonely anymore. She is the cutest and smartest puppy in the world!! She goes everywhere with us and she is extremely socialized and has no fear of any person or animal she runs in to. I think she’s convinced she’s a lot bigger than she is, not much gets in her way. She sleeps in our arms every night and always gets us up if she has to go out and do her business. I had my son Don build custom stairs for our bed so she and get up and off when she wants to get down to play. We had her to the vet and she’s in great health and everything checks out fine. She eats 3-4 times a day and now weights in at a whopping 2 pounds. Sassy loves to eat and we’re giving her chicken, baby food and her dry cereal all warmed up and she things she’s in heaven!! The only problem we have with her is we can’t go anywhere that we don’t draw a crowd of people that want to see, hold, or talk about her. That kames shopping always slow, but we’re so proud of her we can’t blame anyone that just wants to hold her for a minute. We can’t thank you enough for our little black “Sassy”
girl. We waited two years before we found her and now I know it was
fate, she was meant to be our baby. Sandra Beranek

! Trinket is doing just great. She was house broke in two days which Its always a gamble when you get a pet but I can't imagine finding She is eating fine except she still doesn't eat the dry puppy food She appears to be in good health and very happy. I wouldn't sell She is sleeping in my lap as I'm typing this note. Thanks for a wonderful puppy,

Hi, Sophia is the cutests little thing. I am sure all your customers
write to you and tell you they have the most beautiful pup. Well on
the way home I went to my post office and asked them to weigh her.
She weighs 3 lbs 1 oz and I figure that is pretty accurate. She was
born 4/15 so she is 9 mnoths. My friend has a breeder friend with
a show wicket measure so we measured her and she is 6 3/4" tall.
She is doing great and is a very happy baby. Thanks again for my baby. Dear Collette and Tony, I can't begin to tell you how happy I am. You brought me my "Nicky" Sunday, he climbed out of the box the first night, which amazed me, and slept though withour a whimper Monday and last night. he is almost paper trained too and is wonderful. he is smart, sweet, plaful and justt too cute! Now the next step is teaching him to walk with the leash. Thank you both again. I highly recommend you guys to anyone who wants a good, well behaved and loveable dog. Inez
Collette, The kids are getting along great. They never stop going except the white girl takes more naps. Lover Boy runs all the time and when he gets too tired just falls over and takes a little nap then off running again. He is great. The little black girl steals your heart. She is so cute. We are in love with them all. The vet check on Monday went good. The vet said these are quality puppies, and after getting the stool checks all negative for everything he said this says a lot about your kennel. He is very strict on the raising and care for dogs and puppies. When he comes out here (4 times a year), he always keeps me up to his standard and that is (HIGH) of what should be the conditions and care of our dogs and puppies. So when he [spoke well] about your Kennel it was a big compliment from him. We have been with him for 20 years. I ordered the Poodle Review this morning. They said it would be mailed tommarow. We are very pleased. Dave and Donna
I just wanted to let you know how Noel is doing. She is definitely a character! We had an appointment at the doctor last night for her shot. She weighs 4.6 lbs. The doctor is very happy with her. He says she is gaining weight on schedule, her physical condition is great and she has an extremely strong heartbeat. He is very impressed with her and with you as the breeder. He ahs remarked several times about how well socialezed she is and attributed that to you. I already was aware of that about you, but was impressed that he could say that just by seeing Noel. I also worry every time we go to the doctor...I'm never sure that I am actually going to get to leave with her. Thay are all crazy about her. From the doctor all the way throught the receptionist staff and we can never leave before they all hold her and say goodbye to her. I have also scheduled an appointment to have her groomed there next week. That should be very interesting! Noel is so sweet and loving, as you promised. She is also extemely strong-willed! So am I! This has led to some very interesting situations! Sometimes I swear she rolls her eyes at me and is thinking "there she goes again!" I get frustrated sometimes because I have some trouble with her training and thinkg that I am totally incompetent. She is so intelligent that I think she should just do everything how and when I tell her to and then she doesn't! I have to remind myself that she is not even 4 months old. The doctor did assure me that I am doing just fine with her and handling the situations correctly. he just thinks she has hit the juveniles age and has times that she doesn't want to listen and tries to push the boundaries. After talking to him I felt a lot better and it actually made sense. She certainly provides me with plenty of stories and I keep people entertained with them. Everybody is just crazy about her and everyday several people ask me about her. One of my best lines is that she is doing fine...but, we have had to have several conversations about who is actually in charge...and so far it's not me! Some people think I am kidding about having conversations with her, the real pet people know I'm not. One of my nieces has actually asked if I will make her guardian of Noel if anything happens to me. I did! I thought I would have a picture for you by now. However, the store lost my film. So, I am working on taking more pictures and will get one to you soon. I want to thank you so much for letting me have her. She is a real joy and I don't know what I did without her. i've only had her six weeks, but it seems like she has been with me forever and that's a good forever. I also want to thank you for all the talking we did before I actually got her. That meant a lot to me and I really appreciated it. Thanks!

Just wanted you to know the "Little Dynamite" is doing good. We call him Grizz because we think he looks like a little bear. I want to thank you for doing just a good job with him. I love the way he responds to thins you probably taught him. He turned in circles and with excitement when I put my tennis shoes in the play pen with him.. and he lovers to play tug of war with my socks... he likes the high pile area rug in the bathroom and fringe. He is eating a little better but thank goodness you told me about the Gerbers chicken. Everything has been new for him and sure it has caused some anxiety in his little mind. Tony was right when he told my husband that "Grizz" would grow on him because the little guy has gotten to LuVerne's heart Hope your doing well, Rusty |
